Anicca - Mountain echo

“Mountain Echo,” part of the “Anicca” series, presents collages that combine personal belongings of residents who were forced to evacuate their homes in October 2023, alongside real and imagined objects belonging to evacuees from the same communities during the 1920 Tel Hai events. The historical objects were generated using AI, based on academic research describing household items from the early 20th century in the settlements of the Land of Israel. This combination creates a visual dialogue between past and present, expressing the recurring experience of displacement in northern Israel throughout history.
